I help caregivers, patients and their doctors understand the importance of “dying with dignity.”
I help caregivers, patients and their doctors understand how palliative care supports dying with dignity Four out of five doctors are afraid of letting a patient die. I’m not one of them.
The end-of-life journey includes three stages:
A beginning (advance care planning)
A middle (palliative care)
An end (natural death)
I offer compassion and support to help you and your caregivers make difficult decisions on how your life will end. I teach physicians, nurses, paramedics, social workers and chaplains how to help their patients and caregivers understand palliative care and ask for it.
